The
United Methodist Church (http://www.umc.org)
The newly redesigned UMC site is full
of information for all areas of interest if you are willing
to search for it. The “Tools of Ministry” section has info
for almost all of the church work areas.
Camp
Glisson (www.campglisson.org)
Camp Glisson is a year-round retreat
and summer youth camp owned by the North Georgia Conference
of the United Methodist Church. Its purpose is to encourage
young persons in spiritual growth.
The
Upper Room (www.upperroom.org/devotional)
Visit
upperroom.org for The Upper Room daily devotional; Upper Room
books and magazines on Christian spirituality, Weavings, Alive
Now, Pockets, DevoZine, and El Aposento Alto; Emmaus and Chrysalis;
prayer requests; chapel and museum.
Methodist
Links (http://www.garyritner.org/pp.html)
This site of links
is one of the most extensive I’ve seen. On the top there are
links to more pages of links, “Other Religious Links,” “Sermons,
Worship, Bible” and “New Links.” Each page has many links.
InfoServ
(http://infoserv.umc.org)
Get your questions answered. You may also
look at an archive of answers of previously asked questions,
such as the Christian Year, Baptism and Confirmation, Leadership
and more. A good source of information.
Bible
Gateway – searchable Bible (http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?)
You may do either a passage search or a
word search. Many Bible versions and languages available.
World
Wide Study Bible (http://biblestudy.churches.net/CCEL/WWSB/INDEX.HTM)
“The World Wide Study Bible was conceived
as a means of organizing all of the Bible-related resources
on the World Wide Web according to scripture reference.” I
doubt if it organizes “all” resources, but it is a useful
site when preparing a lesson.
Bible
Study Tools on Crosswalk.com (http://www.biblestudytools.net/)
Exactly as the title suggests. It has many
useful links.
