Bethany has many children's activities that will provide both religious education and Christian fun and fellowship.

Sunday:
9:45 Cherub Choir (Pre k & Kindergarten)
Mrs. Pat will gather you on the Children’s Hall for your Choir time.

9:45 Bethany Kids’ Connection
This is a rotational Sunday School model. We rotate to six different centers in each unit: ART, BIBLE STORY, COOKING, GAMES, and SCIENCE. The 6th week we have “Review Day” to review and go over the
unit.

4:30-5:30 Children’s Choir (1st-5th grade)
You will meet Mrs. Pat in the Choir room to practice

5:00-5:30 Snack Supper time: **
The kids bring $1 and get a kid friendly dinner served to them before we start our activities.

5:30-7:00 Pioneer Club: **
This is a club designed for children ages 2 yrs. -5th Grade. We have a bible lesson, memory verses, and Activity awards for learning life skill lessons. They get t-shirts, awards, and have a great time learning about Jesus!

Wednesday:

5:30-6:00 Children’s Choir:**
All children Kindergarten through 5th Grade come and learn songs and short programs to perform in the 11:00 Worship Service. Come and join us as “we make a joyful noise unto the Lord”.


** Please not that Sunday evening activities and Children’s Choir are during the school year months. We do Wonderful Wednesdays during the summer months.

Wonderful Wednesdays 2007

June 4-8 Vacation Bible School 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m.

Free

June 13 Butts Mill Farm (Pine Mountain, GA) 9:00a.m.-8:30p.m.

$ age 10 and up $16, children 3-9 $14, children 2 and under are free

Wear comfortable shoes and come for a fun packed day. We can purchase a sack lunch for $3.50 which includes a hot dog, chips, and a drink. For more information go to www.buttsmillfarm.com. On the way home we will stop for dinner at McDonald’s. So please put your child’s name and order on an envelope and seal their money in the envelope. You can pack some snacks and drinks if you would like for the day as well.

June 20 Movie Night 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m.

Free Popcorn, cokes, and sprite will be provided.

Come for a fun family movie on the Big Screen in the Youth room.

June 27 Zoo Atlanta 9:00a.m.-4:00p.m. $

15 or more paying guests will get a group rate of

Children (3-11)-- 9.99 Adults—13.99

You can either bring a sack lunch or buy your lunch in the zoo. We will divide in groups—you will carry your lunch—and when your group decides to eat you can do so. We will set a time to meet back at the front gate to go home.

July 4 No Wonderful Wednesday—Happy 4th of July!

July 11 Centennial Olympic Park and Picnic 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m.

Free Wear your swimsuit (Girls that means a tankini that covers or a 1 piece please) to get wet in the fountains. Bring dry clothes to change into—then we will explore the park and have our picnic so don’t for get your lunch!!!!!!

July 18 “Christmas in July” Party 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m.

Free Ice Cream Sundaes will be served

Wear red and green and come for some holiday fun! We will celebrate Christmas in July with games, crafts, and lots of other fun! Please bring a canned good to donate to M.U.S.T.

July 25 No Wonderful Wednesday—Mary Jane on vacation

August 1 Messy Olympics 6:30p.m.-9:00p.m.

Free Popsicles and Ice Cream Bars will be served

Time to get MESSY!!!! Wear shoes you can get wet and run in. Beware we do get messy so please wear clothes that you can get wet and messy in. Remember a towel and dry clothes to wear home as well. Oh yeas and remember to bring a BIG can of shaving cream for our world famous shaving cream fight at the end—this is your chance to get Mrs. Mary Jane—so you better take advantage of it!

August 8 Sun Valley Beach 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

$ Children (2-11) 14.95 12 an up 17.95

Bring a towel, sunscreen, and wear your bathing suits (Girls—please wear a tankini that covers or a one piece only please!). Don’t forget a picnic lunch, some extra snacks, and drinks for a day of fun in the sun!
