Special Lenten Season evening Services
Bethany's Evangelical committee and Pastor Terry Phillips encourage members
to celebrate their faith and commitment to Christ by attending special
Lenten Services. These will begin on Sunday February 25th and continue
for 5 consecutive Sundays at 7 PM.
We expect to be blessed with great special music and the powerful preaching
of some `sons of Bethany' who went on to serve the Lord in ministry. Those
who will be with us and bringing the messages are:

And on March 25th, Dr. Warren Lathem, our District Superintendent,
will bring the message at the last Sunday evening Lenten Services.
There will be a time of fellowship and refreshment on Sunday nights
at the close of each service.
During this season of Lent, we will also have an observance of Ash Wednesday
on Feb. 21st and Maundy Thursday on April 5th. Our pastor will hold
those two services.
As we approach the Lenten season, you will be hearing more about all
of these Special Lenten Services. Please be in prayer that this will
be a time of renewal of our faith, of remembrance of the sacrifice made
for us on on Calvary's cross, and an opportunity to extend Bethany's
ministry to the community around us.
