Bethany's worship ministries include both traditional and contemporary worship services, as well as an evening service. We also provide audio and video recordings of our services for home-bound members.
Traditional Worship Service
Sundays 11:00 am
Our Traditional Service features United Methodist hymns and anthems sung by our Chancel Choir, and classic organ music.
Contemporary Worship Service
Sundays 8:45 am
Our Contemporary Service opens with lively Christian praise songs, peformed by our own Bethany Praise Band. Song lyrics are displayed on large screens for members to sing along..
Evening Worship Service
Sundays 6:30 pm
(During Summer, Evening Worship is held at 7:00 pm.)
On the First Sunday of every month, we have a special service or guest speaker for our Evening Service, followed by a reception in Lacy Hall. On other Sundays, the Evening Service is a more personal, informal service where members come together and sing the old hymns and listen to series messages from our Pastor.
Infant & Toddler Nursery
During Sunday morning services, child care for children 2 and under is available in the Infant and Toddler nurseries, located in Lacy Hall. Children of all ages are also welcome in the sanctuary if you prefer.
Extended Ministry
During the Traditional Worship Service, we offer an Extended Ministry program for children ages 2 - 5 years old. This ministry is intended to provide Christian education for children not yet old enough to sit through church. After the Children's Sermon, those attending the Extended Ministry are walked down to the Children's Corridor, where parents can pick them up at the end of the service.
Audio/Video Ministry
Home-bound members of Bethany UMC may request audio or video recordings of the Sunday Service by contacting the church office.
