  • Parents Night Out
    (Youth Fundraiser)
    Enjoy an evening out, while Bethany youth and adults watch your children from 6-10pm for $10/child.
  • Church Work Day
    Trustees need your help on March 20th at 9am to do spring cleaning of Bethany so it can be beautiful and ready for Easter and Homecoming. Please come and let’s work together to make God’s house a beautiful home to worship and fellowship. If any Sunday school classrooms need items disposed of or stored, please contact Dianne Henry. See you on work day!

  • Easter Candy Donations Needed
    Easter is just around the corner! We are in need of individually wrapped candy that can fit in a regular size plastic egg for the children's Easter Egg Hunt. There will be a box by the church office or you can leave donations in front of Mary Jane's office door. All candy needs to be here by March 21st.
  • Concert in Lacy Hall
    Come celebrate the opening of our new and improved Lacy Hall with a concert!
  • Easter Egg Hunt
    Our Easter Egg Hunt is Sunday, March 28th at 4:00 for ages nursery through 5th Grade. Come out and join us!

  • Maundy Thursday Service - 7pm
  • Red Cross Blood Drive
    Our annual Red Cross blood drive is going to be on Monday, April 12. Sign up will begin the end of March. Last year volunteers gave 33 pints of blood. Our goal this year is to get at least 40 pints. If you have any questions, you can contact Debra Nix.
  • Help Earthquake Victims by Donating to UMCOR
    Methodists have a wonderful organization that can help us give to those suffering in Haiti and Chile. UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) uses 100% of contributed funds for those in need - nothing given is used for administrative costs. Click the link to see how you can help.
  • 95th Homecoming Anniversary Celebration
    Save the Date for Bethany's 95th Homecoming Anniversary Celebration! April 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.

    The day-long event kicks off with a 10:30 a.m. worship followed by lunch on the grounds and closing with an afternoon of special music and fellowship. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Gil Watson of Northside UMC in Atlanta. Dr. Watson grew up in Bethany Church when it was located in the Grove Park community of northwest Atlanta.
  • Military Mission Program
    If you are a Bethany member and have a spouse, son or daughter serving on active duty in the military; please let Kathy Cooper know if they have not been included in our military Mission program. We want to let our soldiers know we support them with our prayers, small gifts, cards, etc. and don’t want to leave anyone out.
  • Vacation Bible School
    Please mark your calendars for Vacation Bible School! It will be June 21-25, 9:00-12 noon. Volunteers are needed to make this happen! If you would like to help out, please see Mary Jane.
