  • Habitat for Humanity
    Construction on our 14th Habitat house is scheduled to start on July 31st. Have you given or signed up to work yet? See schedule at head of stairs leading to Lacy Hall.
  • Promotion Sunday
    Bibles will be presented to rising 2 year olds and rising 3rd graders. Yearly devotionals will be presented to rising 6th graders. All ages will begin their new Sunday School class for the 2010-2011 school year on Sunday, August 8th.
  • Botes/Coetser Bridal Shower
    A church-wide bridal shower will be held August 8th from 2-4 pm in The Rock for Pieter Botes and Antoinette Coetser.
  • Prayer Meeting at the Myers’ House
    I have felt called to begin a prayer meeting in my home in Paulding County and I wanted to invite everyone (not just those from our church who live near me) to be a part of this. We meet every Thursday night at 6:30 pm at my house. It is my prayer, too, that there are others out there who would like to begin prayer meetings in their homes. If you are interested, please let me know. Prayer is powerful and I believe that we need to be praying together for our church. Come be a part of this prayer meeting or begin one in your own home and together let’s pray for Bethany UMC!
  • Pioneer Club Kick Off
    Kickoff for the 2010/2011 school year will be on Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 4:39-6:30pm. You will register for the new club year. The registration fee is $25.00 for the entire club year, and includes club handbook, awards, award display banner, t-shirt, special events, and tons of fun! (Make checks payable to Bethany UMC.)
  • Henry/Abernathy Bridal Shower
    A church-wide bridal shower will be held August 22nd from 2-4 pm in The Rock for Rusty Henry and Kayla Abernathy.
  • 2010 Fall/Winter Children’s Consignment Sale
    The 2010 Fall/Winter Consignment Sale will be held August 27-28. Register as a seller and/or a volunteer! Visit our website at www.bethanynewbeginnings.org to register or find out more. Seller registration is $5.00 and you receive 75% profit! If you have any questions, please see Vanessa Myers.
  • Guitarist Wanted for Praise Band

  • Bethany's Got Talent!
    What would you do if you were on “America’s Got Talent?” If you can answer that question, then we need you to be a part of “Bethany’s Got Talent” on Saturday, October 2, 2010. If you can sing, dance, do comedy, or entertain in any way – then We Need You. Groups are also needed. Atha Thomas and Bill Waldrep are recruiting people to help with a variety show to raise money for the church. We are also interested in talented people from outside Bethany.
